Dependants visa grace period

Alluryahk

Hello everyone,

My work permit is set to expire on 02/02. I currently have my wife and son with me. We are planning to travel back home on 03/03, with me returning alone after Ramadan. I am not planning to bring them back anytime soon.

Is there a way to avoid paying for a one-year renewal of their visas while ensuring my own visa remains valid? Any advice to reduce costs would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

You have one month grace period to leave after expiry of visas.

Thanks for the answer.

Can my company renew only my visa while my dependents' visas remain unchanged? What I mean is, if only my visa is renewed, would my dependents still have a one-month grace period? In that case, I would move my flights forward by a few days and leave the country.

I have a similar situation, my visa will expire on 18 Jan but my company decided to close its office by March end, so they are renewing my work visa for 6 months, but they will cancel the CR soon and by the end of March they will close their Bahrain office. It means, me and my family (my wife and 1 yr old kid) can stay in Bahrain till March end. I want to know if I have any option in which my wife and kid can stay till March end without renewing their dependent visas as it will be 190 BD for 2.5 months which is costly for me.

Your response will be very helpful.

Thanks.

As I explained, once visas are cancelled, you have a month before you need to adjust status or leave.   If that works out for your familing timings, fine, otherwise you need to renew.
