Saluting on Malta

StigTommy

Hi all

Is there anyway to know when they are saluting and using fireworks in Valletta and Sliema?
I mean is it advertised before somewhere or is it just random?

Hello,
The Visit Malta website lists all the info on festivals and accompanying fireworks in the "events" tab. X

Or there is a list

Hi Tommy,

just look at the Festa schedules of the various churches. Fireworks are usually late on Saturday evening  and on Sunday when the procession finishes.

Today is Sacre Coeur in Sliema.

Looks like it... you should see the flags and things going up now. You and your family will enjoy it. It's busy but fun :) on the downside, you will have fireworks everyday at 08:00, 12:00, 20:00 and (at weekends 23:30!!!)

Gzira is one of the festas with little or no fireworks.

on the 27 th July it is Mt. Carmel in Balluta. They have nice fireworks.
