Hi all,

We invite all the ones who got married in Gibraltar or who are about to get married in Gibraltar to participate in this thread

What are the formalities to get married in Gibraltar? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Gibraltar)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

I got married in Gibraltar, with about 60 guests travelling from UK and Norway (my family from UK, my wife's family from Norway).

We had the ceremony at the St Andrews church of Scotland, and the reception afterwards at the Rock Hotel.

Every one of our guests loved it, and even now say it was the best wedding they ever went to. I think the location itself was the real winner.

I would highly recommend Gib as the ideal location to get married.
