Hi! Im Ruth, currently residing in Mauritius and just get married last year. I was supposed to go back to Philippines this January to process my passport renewal unfortunately, the pandemic happens and we just recently found out that im pregnant which makes its more risky for me to travel. I email the consulate here but they told me that personal appearance should be done at South Africa Philippine Embassy however they are close due to pandemic. My passport is about to expire next year and i dont know what to do. Your advice is most welcomed. Thank you

Hello

I doubt you will get an answer wrt a question pertaining to the T&C for the renewal of a foreign passport. Your best bet will be to either phone or write to the Philippine Embassy in South Africa because the Honorary Consulate in Mauritius can't provide services to the citizens of Philippine in Mauritius

My passport is going to expire by january next year. I hope something can be done amidst this pandemic.
Im sure there other filipinos who need to renew their passports as well.
