Relocating to Cabo Verde

Lyrica Star

Hello,

I'm a UK citizen who would like to relocate to Cabo Verde. I plan making my first trip next year - up to 30 days visa-free, starting the process at that same time, then leave CV after the 30 days are up. (Returning to my job.)

Ideally, I'd like to leave the UK and stay on in CV 2 years from now.

What is the best route/visa towards residency, considering my background?

I'm an educator who has taught English as a foreign language for many years.

I'm also an artist who has provided workshops in the past.

I've also just started a vegan food snack, with sustainable goals,  but I've also read my main crop can grow in Cabo Verde; it's currently very small scale, but I think it has potential for business in Cabo Verde.

I would be happy to contribute, not take - and be part of the community - making friends with other expats as well as locals, and I've just started learning Portuguese as well as Kriolu.

Right now Praia, Santiago appeals to me, even though it's a city, I'm looking for some flair but not excessively either - and access to the beach and scenic nature on other parts of Santiago island.

Finally, how much do 2 bedroom apartments go far in Praia - and just for fun is beach volleyball played there?

Thank you all in advance.
