Just keep talking and getting to know them, if the feeling is not right, you will know,take any blinkers off first, of course.Most are very friendly and just want to know you, practice English,enjoy the company.Use your nouse....

They mostly want to make friends. Give them a chance to be friends then you'll know whether they are real friends, it's aslo a chance for you to have those real ones. Just talk and share what you have known, i guess they will share you lots of things that you haven't known yet... be open my friend... :)

u can't tell who they are by just staring at them.

if you have met through a common friend ask that friend about him/her .
